Dr. Price, We know, is a trained physician
Learned and sworn to care for a person’s health.
Yet, Price doth claim that Our “society”
should not be helping thee to care for thy health.
Because, good Price believeth, that in order to care
For thy health, thou must be denied all health care.
For, only then, saith he, hath thee the urgency
to take best care, indeed, of thy welfare.
And there’s the art, thou see’st, with Price’s decree
Promote We more thy health if less We care.
Price requests that We, in society,
might offer him reward, so he might help,
for thee to find with thine own means, the health
care that thou seekest.
Only thus, saith he, wilt thee so pay
attention to thy health, that thee, in fact,
might stay healthy.
Without thy health care.
And what reward might it be, that Price desires?
Well, food and trips and coin, and ay, the best
health care that Our society can pay.
Dear Price, Our head doth ache to hear thy riddle
And, lo, we fear thy bent is but to fiddle.
So thus Wethinks thy post thou shouldst resign
Farewell, old Price, We thank thee for thy time.
Exit Price.
